Royal Hotel Cafe - Chilliwack

Since it was under new management, I thought I'd support them. Hubby wasn't hungry, too bad, I was. Lol. I had the BBBLT with fries and lemonade.Lemonade was perfect, not to tart nor too sweet. Hubby really liked it.Due to allergies, my fries were made special for me. I really appreciated the time they took to go out of their way to accommodate me.The fries are delicious! The sandwich was very good. I liked the fact it was not smothered with mayo so flavours of the ingredients could be tasted. The special bacon was delicious. I would have liked more of it in the sandwich, it was so good and I love bacon!I have seen they have many ideas for breakfast. Looks good.The young lady serving us was very friendly and knowledgeable. She knows how to do her job. Very clean establishment.I will definitely be back!

Eight seniors enjoyed a very good supper, not a large menu but excellent food, great staff, friendly and quick service. The place itself takes you back a few generations, lots of history. Will definitely return.

Decided to try the Royal Hotel Cafe after write up in the local paper.Pleasantly surprised. Old ambience (wood floors), very clean and goodservice. The food was simple (no grease) and the pulled pork was verytasty. I will be back as the new owners have some updates planned fortheir restaurant and that means the Royal can only get better.

I have been here several times in the last few months. We stumbled on it by accident as it is not well marked. I had no idea there was even a place to eat there until recently. Glad we found it as it is a great place to eat while we are visiting Party in the Park on Friday nights. The food has been really good. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large for most items. The menu changes weekly with new specials and new desserts. I had the fish and chips last week and the chocolate cheesecake - both were freshly made and tasted great. We are following them on Facebook now to find out the new weekly specials as they don't seem to have a website at this point?

My fiance and I came in one Saturday morning to try out their breakfast since it's under new management. I had the eggs benedict and thought I would try it since it said there was a twist on the original, it comes on a cheese scone and it had french fried onions on top. I have to say these food combos do not mix at all! It was also lukewarm when it arrived. The service was friendly though, overall it wasn't horrid but it wasn't great, I would not recommend the eggs benny french fried onions and cheddar scones do not go or taste good with eggs, ham and hollandaise sauce!.
