Maru Sushi - Chilliwack

Back in Chilliwack for work and stopped by for lunch This time around I ordered the sashimi boxand it was quite good.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the sushi was bad, but it wasn't anything to write home about.

One of my favorite sushi places anywhere love coming to the west coast and finding decent real crab sushi in a small town mall sushi restaurant.

Maybe it's because I live in Vancouver, and have access to so many amazing sushi restaurants, but I found thia place just average and about double the prices of what I'm use to.One thing I was amazed by was the salad we ordered.Average and overpriced is my final statement about this place.

Have tried about 3 sushi places in Chilliwack and I liked this the best so far. Nicely presented food and fresh (which you really want with sushi!!!) I would agree with previous reviews that the service is a bit "relaxed" but they are pleasant. I liked the ambience of the place too....so overall I would return and this will be my go to place when I have a sushi craving. Enjoyed BC roll, tuna sashimi and miso soup....all a good standard.
