Cindy's Place - Chicora

Not much going on in this part of Pennsylvania. However, the people around here believe in feeding you good. I tried the extreme supreme omelette and it was good, but a little too much food . I could not consume the entire meal. They serve all day breakfast and have chicken wings, burgers, and misc. daily specials. Was very happy to find this little local restaurant. We were in town visiting the Chicora Alliance Church and were nervous that we wouldn’t be able to find a place for breakfast. We were warmly greeted. Service was great. Food did the trick. We left with full bellies and warm smiles. It’s also much larger inside than you would think from looking at the exterior.

Had a terrible experience there on Monday, Veterans Day. Had my daughter and her family with us. They had a rare day off for the entire family. They don’t go to lunch or dinner very often because of their special needs child, who is a handful to deal with. My grandson was running between the arcade games and the table. Waitress proceeded to rudely inform us”He can’t do that”.!!! We were seated in the outer room, not bothering anyone but her. Upset my daughter and grandchild. She obviously cannot recognize a special needs child. Ruined our whole dining experience. Will never go back to that place. No compassion

I was traveling and needed to find a place to eat lunch. I found Cindy’s Place in a small town and it seemed like one of the only restaurants around. The restaurant has a hometown feel to it. My waitress was very friendly and she continually refilled my drink. I had ordered a Taco Salad. It was prepared quickly and tasted really good. I recommend eating here if your ever near by.

Very good food. The staff is nice and attentive and the portions are big. I, usually, get the mess. It consists of Hot Sausage, peppers, onions, potatoes, eggs and cheese all scrambled together...it covers a big plate. Very nice place!
