Taco Bell - Chico

The food was served hot, and the Chipotle Cheddar Chalupa combo was outstanding, along with the other items I ordered. Everything was accurate, and the portion sizes were fantastic!

The chalupa shells were rock hard and chewy, as if they had been sitting out all night before being served to me at lunch. I had to throw the chips away because they tasted like someone had accidentally spilled cleaning product into the fryer. They were completely inedible and definitely a health concern. Whatever was in that fryer is not suitable for human consumption. I’m really disappointed that I wasted my money.

The food was cold, and the nacho cheese cups were nearly empty. The cinnamon twists were missing entirely, and the five-layer burrito had no beef in it whatsoever. I also didn't receive any hot sauce packets.

First, everything had tomatoes in it despite no tomatoes being selected. Across all three items rather than beef was this old dry chicken. The chalupa bread tasted like it had been pulled from the trash. Finally, everything was just room temperature. So sad to say but I think Door Dash has become their trash bin to preserve profits.

I've always found them to be quite quick, and I've never had any issues. Today, when I stopped by, one of the staff gave me a free Baja case. I didn’t catch his name, but it really shows he's not just doing it for the recognition; he’s genuinely a nice person.
