La Perla Taqueria Mexican Grill - Chico

Food was tasty and fresh...I have shrimp cocktail which was not bad the lengua tacos were fresh

They were fast and the service was friendly but the food was a disappointment. The chili Verde had no Verde flavor and was more like a pork Asada. The big chunks of tomato we're not as palatable as pico generally is. I will give them credit for portion size and I may give them another chance in case this was just an off day, but if it's not I hope they develop better recipes. In addition, there parking is very limited and since there was nobody in the I have to suspect their employees took up all the parking spaces closest to the door.

I've visited La Perla Taqueria a few times now and have had a consistently good experience. Friendly service and delicious, quality mexican cuisine. The restaurant lobby is kept clean tidy and the interior decor is very nice. Great downtown Chico location too!Food: 5/5

Chorizo and eggs are good and I especially like how it's serve all day. Portions are huge and represent a good value overall. They also have Modelo on tap. Service is great even though you order at a counter. For quality is par for Northern California AKA you're not in San DiegoFood: 4/5

The food is amazing! You don't find to many Mexican restaurants in town that serve a verity of breakfast choices. This breakfast is bomb.Food: 5/5
