Big Al's Drive In - Chico

We didn't try all the food but what we did eat was so delicious!! I had the fish and replaced my chips with zucchini chips. The COD did not disappoint, it was so juicy, better then restaurants Fish and Chips. The Zucchini was so perfectly cooked! Dipped in ranch, umm umm ummm! ? Although the time of day we went, the sun was beaming on our backs standing at the order window. Everyone was retreating back to their cars. Big Al's brought back a nostalgia vibe of the 50's.

Love Big Al's Chicos local favorite, especially for their triple thick milkshakes. Service is okay, atmosphere could use some updating. Both indoor and outdoor seating available.

The food was horrible here,the whole lobby was dirty every table and floors had food on them, when I got my food their was not a soul in the lobby so not sure why it never got cleaned.

One if the few old fashion drive up/through restaurants from the 60’s still in business with good food and prices.

My family has been coming to Big Al's since I was a kid (almost 40yrs. Anytime we came into town we always stop here for the ice cream. It's amazing as always!!!
