El Coto - Chiclana de la Frontera

Visited the place yesterday and suffered a bad food poisoning. The smell of old cooking oil from the kitchen should have made us turn away, but due to many people sitting there and not much alternatives we decided to stay. Several hours later the orange-brown oil started coming out.....not digested by my body. I think I can digest stones, but not the El Coto fried sardines though : Highly recommended to avoid.... P.S. When we returned with the bill and the complaints the management was not client oriented, made a huge scene and returned us €10 for the sardines out of the €45 bill as a HUGE courtesy.... bad, bad client centricity.

This I recommend to try a bit of tapas. Great service and friendly staff. Very quiet but waiter was fab . Had shared meze and spanish potatoes which were yummy

Buena alternativa para comer sin exigencias un día de playa En el centro comercial, próximo a la playa y con comida casera y de la región. Algunos paltos fuera de carta con precios excesivos

Lo puntuaría mejor de no ser porque nos la clavaron con el “fuera de la carta” de un calamar (36 euros! a 60 EUR/kg una sobrada y sin advertir). El resto estuvo bien, platos combinados muy generosos (recomiendo compartir entre 2 niños) y bien preparados.

El pescado estaba fresco y las ensaladas son enormes.
