Old Cottage Indian - Chichester

My wife and I went around 18 o'clock yesterday. the personal was very friendly and welcoming, and the ambiente was really relaxed with a good buzz. the food drinks arrived quickly, and the staff ensured that we were served in time. the food itself was incredible! we ordered the garlauch naan, pliau reis, bombay kartoffel, makhani chicken a lamb dish. all were exceptional and ready for perfection. the chicken was juicy and tender, the lamb similar. all in all, an amazing restaurant. we will definitely return!

Lovely food as always, but no desert menu, bring back the lemon or orange stuffed Sorbet....

Went there for the first time a couple of Saturdays ago after just moving to Chichester, definitely won’t be the last, great food and service, highly recommended.

I came here a few years ago when I was working an event at Goodwood, and it was absolutely wonderful. They put up with us rocking up as a 20 top, having only booked a couple hours in advance and the food and service was fabulous. Cut to today I finally found this gem again having forgotten where it was. I took my girlfriend and was nervous it wouldn't live up to my goodwood memory, but it was even better. A romantic little table for two, attentive, friendly service and the food was absolutely incredible. Great portions, great prices, great flavours. If it's not clear yet, I really like this restaurant.

This was the most authentic Indian food I’ve had in Chichester. The sag aloo stood out from what I've had at other restaurants; it was drier and had an incredible flavor. I inquired about the main dish, which I have a connection to in India, and it was fantastic. It had just the right balance of flavors. I don’t quite remember the dish's name, but I believe it was on the menu. The rice was perfect too. Overall, I was very pleased with the meal, and the staff were courteous and polite. I will definitely return in the New Year!
