Ocean Village Take Away - Chichester

Fantastic Chinese the best one in The Witterings by a clear mile! Moved here 2 years ago and just tried Ocean Village for the first time after trying the local ones to us in Bracklesham which weren’t very good. Their food is amazing and just the Chinese we had hoped to find! Their food is great quality and the portions are generous so be prepared for seconds the next day. It all looks and tastes fresh and the prawns we had were the biggest I’ve seen! Genuinely so happy to find such a tasty Chinese we will deffo be back! Just a word of advice make sure to take cash as they do not accept card which is odd and its collection only no delivery.

I love a Chinese takeaway, and always try to get a Chinese takeaway of Singapore Fried Noodles (without the curry powder that’s really not how we eat it in SG) when trying out a new place, esp on holiday. ‘Xingzhou mee fern ’ is really hard to fry too hot and the vermicelli sticks and too low heat means you don’t get the wok hei into the noodles. This takeaway does it well and passes with flying colours! We are definitely coming back for more for the rest of the trip!

I have tried to call them and cannot find an email.address, was poorly after eating takeaway last night. Singapore vegetable noodles. Crispy seaweed Sweet and sour chicken balls.

We have recently moved to the area and LOVE Chinese takeaway! We tried all 3 to give them all a fair chance but Ocean village was by far the best! Pots always filled to the brim, super tasty and smooth collection every time considering the crazy world we are in!
