The Marq - Chicago

Overall the food was very good. macaroni and cheese were delicious combination of cheese and use of panko . marq burger was also very delicious. loved the chocolate cake and the cookies and ice cream. what wasn't great? sweet potato friries were hardly warm, although we ate early pre-theater and the restaurant was not busy. the waldorf salad of marq is not an authentic waldorf salad that has apples and many other fruits and celery with mayo and lemon juice. the Marq version is more disappointed by an salat with a little bit. the carrot cake dessert was a very small part and while he had some creative asspects, it was not particularly good.

Recommend great lunch in the loop. ceasar salat with steak is tops. 8.6 10

Had a large group that the venue could initially record; the server was really attentive and friendly to our table. the eating was really good a great post-work-cogregation place! not too casual, but also definitiw not suffy!

Food was good but it took close to 30 minutes for 3 salads and one sandwich to come out. Would still probably go back, though.
