The Field House - Chicago

This could be one of my new top spots in the area. The staff is excellent and they have recently started hosting live music on Sunday nights now that football season is done.

Went to watch a US soccer game, waitress turned off the game and when we asked for it to be put back on she told us that we had to order a beer in order to get service. I am sober so was drinking soda and she was extremely rude, would not go back

Cheap drinks and good service. Great place to watch the game on Saturday or Sunday.

I hate people, but the humans I met at this bar made me come back each night of our trip. This place is a special kind of special, either you get it or you don’t.

I absolutely love Fieldhouse. I didn't plan on going out for Dive Bar Wednesday this week, but when I saw my former roommate Matt drinking here alone, I decided to join him for a quick drink after a long day. Surprisingly, after three drinks, I was glad I came. Megg, the bartender, is top-notch and I had a great time chatting with this guy named Chris and another guy wearing a Rage Against the Machine T-shirt (he must be cool). The drinks are reasonably priced and I wish my dad could come to this bar, but he lives too far away in Connecticut. This place would be perfect for a second date, as if your date enjoys it as much as you do, marriage might just be on the cards. Just a word of advice, I wouldn't recommend it for a first date.
