The California Clipper - Chicago

The Clipper has a distinctly cool and retro atmosphere. The bartenders are skilled and cocktails are complex, yet not over the top. I really like their Corn and Oil (trust me, way better than the name! . Its a run place for smaller groups to go and playboard games, listen to music or just chat. It's quieter when they first open, so it's a good spot for conversation.

My favorite place to take people in Chicago. One of the best bars to go to feel like you've been transported to another time and place. There's usually a cover but it's cheap. And the drink menu is simple, priced well, and strong. Go to the Clipper withyour beloved as soon as you can. You won't regret it.

Very cool. Red sexy glow vibes all day! All drinks, even large selection of soft drinks. I love that, because that says they think of everyone. Cooler place 100%Cool seating, cool bar, cool vibes. It's just a bar that's probably better than most. Vintage Chicago Spot. Look at it.

Super cute cocktail bar with various live music. I don't know how this was my first time here but I'm glad that I found it. The prices are reasonably and the decor makes you feel like you are at a swanky lounge of the 50's/60's!

The Bar was ok. Drinks were ok. Music for a Saturday night was not so good. We stayed for almost 2 hours and had to leave because of the music. Signature Drinks were weird taste, not bad but again not good.
