Taqueria El Dorado - Chicago

This hidden gem is off the beaten path, away from the typical tourist spots. Both the prices and the food are fantastic. I absolutely adore this quaint restaurant. The service is welcoming and friendly, and it truly makes you feel like you're in a charming Mexican village. Highly recommend this place! Food: 5/5

The Tacos are delicious and the price is right! The ambience isn 't horrible but it 's not amazing either. I don 't think you really go there for the ambience. The service was friendly. All the tacos are between two and three dollars. And they 're authentic, not some 'Taco Bell wanna be ' type of place

This is my go to taqueria in my neighborhood. There are many good ones near by, but this is my favorite. The tacos and burritos are great and a great price. A wonderful mom and pop place. So good. Support local businesses.

I was going here 5 times a week at one point, if I still lived close by I would still be going everyday but I go as much as I can…best flavored steak, best burritos, tacos, best Mexican food in chicago, better than any places I’ve been to in California, the owners are very friendly and the prices are unbeatable especially nowadays nothing has changed, 10/10!

The prices are quite reasonable for tacos, especially considering the generous portions. I really enjoyed the chicken and al pastor tacos. I’m giving it 4 stars because the carne asada was a bit disappointing—it tasted fine, but the meat was rather tough to chew. However, I would definitely return just for the al pastor. The service was very friendly too. I’d be happy to come back.
