The service here is consistently outstanding, and the rolls are incredible. My all-time favorite is the mushroom roll, but I recently tried one with fried capers, and it was delicious! It's a fantastic spot that makes you feel grown-up. I tend to stick to what I know and always order the same thing, but it never disappoints—even after all these years!
This restaurant is a hidden gem of a sushi spot located at the far end of the Randolph Street corridor, right by the highway to the east. The sushi here is incredibly fresh and packed with amazing flavors, textures, and presentations. I sat at the sushi bar where the chef prepared the nigiri and rolls right in front of me. The uni (sea urchin) was delightfully briny and umami-rich. The sake (Faroe Island salmon) and toro (fatty tuna) were both rich, luscious, and bursting with flavor. The chef generously offered me their salmon belly with foie gras from the omakase menu, which was simply fantastic. I finished off with the ebi ten (shrimp tempura) maki, which was served warm and absolutely delicious. I prefer to use very little wasabi and soy sauce to fully savor the seafood's natural flavors. The staff and sushi chefs were friendly and accommodating, making for a pleasant, quick meal. I definitely need to explore their omakase menu further.
Came for lunch and will be back! Rolls are great. We sat outside which is nearly on the street (didn’t realize but sharing in case you’re considering). Service was quick and friendly.
Amazing food every single time! The flavors, the combinations, the spices and the fresh fish to die for!!!!! We drive 45 mins for sushi here and here...
