Taco Burrito King - Chicago

I would not recommend returning to Taco Burrito King. Every time I’ve ordered, my order has been incorrect. I've also noticed that they repeatedly heat the meat, which stays on the grill, and then they mix it back into the already cooked meat. This raises serious concerns about food safety. The meat tastes overcooked and anything but fresh. I also tried the chicken tacos, and they were even worse than the steak. Goodbye, Taco Burrito King. Adios!

The burritos here are enormous and incredibly tasty. They're generously filled, and they definitely don't skimp on the steak!

I took my girlfriend to this restaurant for her birthday, and unfortunately, it wasn’t the best experience. She specifically asked for no onions, but they still included them in her dish. She ended up picking them out for about 5-10 minutes. I ordered a burrito and requested less meat and more additional ingredients, but they didn’t follow that request either. My girlfriend asked for mild hot sauce, but when she tried it, it turned out to be too spicy for her to use. Keep in mind, she’s Caucasian American and not accustomed to Mexican spice levels. The food itself was quite bland and lacked the seasoning it needed. The steak in my burrito had an excessive amount of fatty pieces. Honestly, if you're looking for a good burrito, I'd recommend Burrito King instead of this place.

Kinda on the expensive side. Over $10,000 for a King Burrito. Not much meat. They also use a kind of spice on the steak. Not badly tasting. Only noticeable.

No nonsense authentic Mexican cuisine. Price is reasonable and food is always good. Try their daily specials. Sundays steak dinner is my favorite.
