Ramen-san - Chicago

I am big on ramen and picky about where I go, and this place did not disappoint. The appetizers were all delicious. We tried the raw tuna and wings. As for the ramen, I got the spicy miso. It definitely was very spicy with a great broth. The noodles were well done as well. I will come back again!

This place is awesome. I have a shellfish allergy, but the kitchen substituted some meat (I think it was pork) in a ramen dish due to the marinade for chicken, and my dish turned out really delicious. It's definitely a more casual jeans and sweater kind of place, with shared seating. We ended up making friends with the people next to us (who randomly also happened to be lawyers) it's the type of place where I think you're meant to talk to the people sitting next to you, which is kind of cool. If you're looking for a dressy, swanky, romantic river north date night, this may not be the place (it's pretty casual, and you'll leave in a food coma) , but the ramen is damn good.

The service and food is always great here! Love the music too.

Wish this were closer to home! We loved the choices and drinks. We would eat here weekly if we could. The ramen was perfect texture. The specials and combinations are perfect for both vegetarians and carnivores. The broth was unforgettable. I had a lobster special that had a kick to it; I think about it often.
