Petterino's - Chicago

My wife and I had a drink at the bar and the bartender was great. We sat down and it felt like we were in factory. After 5 minutes the waiter came over after he was done talking to a few other tables and asked us if we were ready to order, not about drinks or any questions. Right to order. Then we ordered the creamy mushroom soup, and it was water. My wife left it on the side of the table full for almost 7-8 min and the waiter walked by 3-4 times without a word. Asst mgr saw the cup and she questioned the soup, and my wife told her the problem and she would deduct it off the bill. Food came out fast and left at table. Waiter never checked on us the entire meal. We ate 25% of the food. The chicken parm was overcooked and rubber. My wife had mushroom noodle pasta and had no flavor. Waiter stopped back with check in his hand and said, no dessert, I take it . I grabbed the check and gave him my credit card. We had 6 pm reservation and was done at 6:45. No asking about another drink, more bread or anything. We go downtown to shows in Chicago, we won 't be coming back,

Service was a bit rushed. Food was good but not great

The famous chicken pot pie wasn't as good as before. It was barely warm and the carrots were hard. Maybe better next time!

Excellent food, attentive service and located right I n the middle of the theater district. It was a short walk from the theater and the parking garage. We loved it and would go back again.

We felt the noise level was too loud. We did ask the staff to turn down, and they accommodated. Food, service was very good. Ambience was good also. I think it would have been nice if rolls were served with our dinner. Suggestion is to include these.
