Paisans Pizza South Loop - Chicago

The restaurant was conveniently located near our hotel and wasn’t too crowded on Wednesday night. We really enjoyed the baked calamari and the deep-fried pizza; both were delicious.

I had a great time at the restaurant, and my husband enjoyed a spicy pasta dish. Both of our meals came with a choice of soup or salad, and we decided to go with the salads, which we found to be very satisfying. Our server was efficient and attentive, but the restaurant was quite busy. Unfortunately, we decided to skip dessert because we felt the wait was too long. Overall, we thought the dining experience was reasonably priced and delicious. We're in Chicago for five days, and we're excited to return to Paisan's tonight for our last evening here.

We ordered the meat lovers pizza, and it was fantastic! My husband and I shared a 12-inch pie, and it was definitely more than enough—maybe even too much! LOL!
