Contribuiți la feedbackThis restaurant is one of my top guilty pleasures in Chicago. Their breakfast is top-notch, without the need for a buffet. The cocktails in the evening are also fantastic, and their sushi menu, while limited, is of high quality. With the recent renovation of the hotel, I was happy to see that everything I enjoy about NoMi is still intact.
NoMi is my favorite restaurant in Chicago. The service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left was flawless. Merica, the hostess, went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect table, and our server Joe was fantastic. He not only took great care of us but also gave us great recommendations for other places to visit in the city. Jorge, the sommelier, was also excellent, providing recommendations without being pushy. The Chappellet Cabernet Franc was a standout wine choice. Armando, the bus boy, was friendly and attentive, making sure our table was always clear and our glasses were never empty. The menu may change frequently, but if you see some of our favorites - the Octopus Carpaccio, Mussels, Rillette, and Seared Scallops - be sure to give them a try. The Octopus Carpaccio was a standout dish, light and delicious, definitely a must-try.
The food and service at this restaurant were outstanding. The dishes are imaginative, beautifully arranged, and full of delicious flavors. The picturesque views only enhance the dining experience. However, if you are specifically interested in trying the sushi, it is recommended to call ahead as it may not always be available.
My wife and I chose this place for lunch on a beautiful summer day, and made reservations to sit on the rooftop. We chose it because of the reviews we found here. We had an excellent dining experience, although at times we did feel a bit rushed by thestaff. We ordered: Blue Crab Corn Fritter (excellent despite that it was a bit early for blue crab season Grilled MerguezSandwich (LOVE this sandwich. I make my own merguez at home, so I was immediately drawn to it. This was an excellent sandwichand the harissa was not overpowering I highly recommend NoMI Futomaki (it was okay. There are better places to getsushi, and we regretted ordering this a bit. Next, we 'll get a bowl, likely . Chocolate Banana Noisette (picture speaks foritself!
Our recent visit to Nomi was bittersweet. It's a neighborhood lover of us. But it's roof, outside and November in Chicago. It is located in a hotel that is very low in the occupants. This was a celebration and a chance to see you later.... The fabulous bartender/server (he did it all! Let us know that they were low on cash reserves and menu choices. No problem! We had the fabulous, reliable Nomi Burger. It was perfect as usual. Since the numbers are rising and the restaurants are closed for indoor dining, we are sad to see the winter closer. You can see as soon as the weather improves and we can all be healthy and ready for a nice night out.
