Jamaica Jerk Villa Grill - Chicago

CJ was an awesome server. If you?re looking for a vibrant lively vibe, this is the place to go. Don?t recommend coming here for a quiet meal. The food was really good a good price point considering how much meat is served. The hours on Google onthe door don?t necessarily match the time they open so consider calling ahead. Drinks are pricey. Overall great experience abig shout out to CJ for being so sweet fun.

We waited an hour for chicken tacos and got fish tacos. They were bland too, but I didn?t want to wait anymore so I just pretended that it was fine. The sides would have been great if they had been warm. They also gave me a $3.20 service chargebecause I was part of a party of 4. I would understand a service charge for large parties but for only 4 people is unreasonable.

Food and drinks....nothing special about it. Portions are super tiny. We had steak and shrimp tacos. Ate them in 3 bites. Service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us multiple times. I didn't like my drink and she offeredto remake it for me atleast 4 times...even when I was done.

The wait was entirely too long, we waited 2+ hours! It was not busy at all. They ran out of plates, our food finally came out in plastic togo containers that they microwaved. I never write a bad review but this was the worst experience I have ever add at arestaurant. I would not recommend this place.

Good location and food was good. I ordered Curry Chicken, red bans and rice with yams. The staff was slow refilling drinks, the waitress came over once only because I called her over. There were Nats little bugs flying around. They had a hard time gettingout the carry out orders. If I would go back to this location it would be for carry out only
