Home Run Inn Pizza - Chicago

The 3 young girls working behind the counter acted like I was bothering them by trying to place my order. After I stood there for a while another customer came in and stood there almost 5 minutes while they were playing and joking with each other. I knoweveryone is short on help, but their customer service was terrible. Signed: a former customer

The pizza is fresh and delicious, and the restaurant is very clean. However, I do wish the wait time wasn't 45 minutes. I will definitely eat there again!

Drove all the way from Indiana to partake in Home Run Inn Pizza dining in with family. First off terrible attitude soon as you walk in the door everyone standing around doing nothing you can tell that no one wanted to work, no one in there. They told meand my family that there is a 2-hour wait on a pizza. It wasn't even 2 hours left before they closed at 10p which further justlet me know that didn't no one in there wanted to finish working their shift they was trying to close at 8:30 p.m. I took myfamily and left that location never to return.

Terrible restaurant experience overall. Given the location, I suppose I shouldn't have expected much. The trash was overflowing, which was quite unsightly. The staff at the counter seemed more interested in chatting with their friends than attending to customers. To top it off, it took an astonishing 35 minutes to prepare a 12-inch pizza. If you're looking to save some time, I recommend just opting for the take-and-bake pizzas they offer; the quality is exactly the same.

The pizza was tasty, but the overall experience was disappointing. The restaurant seems to be staffed by young teenagers who spent more time chatting and hanging out than attending to customers. While I usually don't mind a casual atmosphere, it was concerning to see that every table was dirty and the bathroom was in poor condition. There was visible dirt everywhere, which raised questions about the cleanliness of the kitchen. We ordered two large pizzas, garlic fries, and drinks, but only received two napkins, which felt inadequate. We probably won't be returning.
