The veal Parmesan here is outstanding. The stuffed artichoke and baked clams are delicious, and the pasta is excellent as well.

I am passionate about Italian cuisine overall, but this restaurant surpassed my expectations. It has a charming, old-school diner vibe, and the service was outstanding. I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich, and it was incredible, while their bruschetta was perfection. As a chef, it's always a pleasure to discover a place I truly enjoy. This is exactly why I love Chicago. I'll definitely be returning to Gio's soon.

I had a wonderful experience dining at this neighborhood deli. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was delightful. I enjoy visiting for a delicious lunch and also picking up some cookies, pasta, and sausage to take home.
