Ganbeii Asian Fusion - Chicago

This restaurant is one of the best in the area. Everything I’ve tried here has been fantastic! The Urban Nomad burger is large, juicy, and cooked to perfection. It comes with a side of fries, which aren't the greatest I've ever had, but they complement the meal nicely. The spicy pork is tender and has just the right kick of spice. The portion is reasonable, but I often find myself wishing for more because it’s so delicious. They usually allow you to add extra meat for a small additional charge, and trust me, it’s worth it. The pulled pork sandwich is a generous size and packed with flavor. The Korean wings are excellent in both varieties. The mandoo make for the perfect appetizer—crispy and served with dipping sauces. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also great, featuring a relaxed vibe with soft lighting and neon signs. They play Korean R&B, which enhances the ambiance. The bathrooms are clean, too. I would definitely recommend this place!

My wife and I are big fans of tteokbokki, and this place definitely delivers! It's wonderfully spicy and full of flavor. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. We've already returned twice since we found this spot, and we're only in town for two weeks!

This is an awesome spot for Korean cuisine! I tried the bulgogi, cheese fries, and tteokbokki. I definitely recommend the fries—they were fantastic! The bulgogi was just as delicious as you would expect, looking just like in the pictures. The tteokbokki was incredibly flavorful and cheesy, though I found the portion size a bit small. Overall, it's a great place to hang out with friends over drinks!

I'm mad I'm just discovering this place now. Great food and top notch service. The mandoo appetizer was perfectly fried and crisp, and the bulgogi was flavorful and came out sizzling. The waiter even brought me some spicy sauce on the side. Music was vibey too, great spot to hang, eat, and drink soju with friends.

The wings were really good. I loved the Korean fries. The service was good and attentive.
