Frietkoten Belgian Fries Beer - Chicago

It's great to see a Belgian fries spot in the station, but it didn't fully meet my expectations. The fries were a bit soggy, and although they claim to double fry them, I'm not convinced that's true. They should have been crispier if they were prepared properly. The beer selection was decent but could use some improvement. Overall, it's a bit pricey for what you receive, and they also close quite early.

This restaurant used to have amazing burgers, fries, and beer. However, we visited on a Monday around 3 PM and found it completely empty—no customers and no staff at either counter. The only person we saw was someone cleaning pots, and they didn't seem to have any information. Does anyone know what's going on with this place?

Is it just me, or do the burgers have a goat-like taste? The fries are fantastic, but there's something about the aroma and flavor of the burgers that reminds me of goat cheese, which I find unappealing. Could it be the smoked Gouda?

Great location but you have to inconvenience the staff next door. Treated like I did something wrong while trying to video the Great location to family to visit and eat from many places. Never going again nor subjecting my family to this treatment.

Love the fries and the selection of beer. Always a the place I stop when early for a train
