Empanadas 5411 - Chicago

I've walked by this place many times and today I finally went in. I was the only customer at the time so it didn't take me long to order. While I waited for my food, the music and atmosphere was soothing. The empanadas were pretty good too. I liked that I could identify which was which by the letters on ther edge. Very helpful. I took them home to eat so they were a little soggy but still good.

Stopped in after a movie at the Music Box, bc I'd eaten here before and it was great. I shouldn't have bothered very disappointing!! While my empanadas were labeled correctly, the ones inside were not what I ordered. I ended up with two that I really disliked (BBQ Chicken). If they didn't have what I ordered, I would have preferred picking something else. I even tipped! Ugh. Don't bother.

We ordered a bacon and dates empana and it was alright but a little too sweet. Cappuccino was delicious

A fun snack for sure! I will say, they are doughier and smaller than competing empanadas. I appreciate the variety and flavor but I found it to be hit or miss. Service was pleasant. A bit pricy but that's to be expected here in Chicago.

This is a fantastic spot for a fast lunch break. I tried the curry chicken, ratatouille, and Malbec beef, and each dish had its own distinct and delicious flavor. The prices are quite fair, and the restaurant is clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. I would give the food a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.
