El Taco Azteca Bridgeport - Chicago

This is my favorite restaurant in the area! We have tried multiple things from the menu: chilaquiles, tacos, burritos, pozole, sopes rusticos. Literally nothing disappoints! The waitress is always so nice and attentive. Really wish more people knew about them and ate there.

I've been a few time and every meal was perfection! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won't be sorry.

Great food and service even in spite of being seemingly short staffed. Place had a nice neighborhood feel with wall deco lifting up the strength of diverse Mexicana women. Temperature was a bit cool by the front of the place, but definitely a pleasant surprise and not what I expected coming to Bridgeport. Vegan options were tasty and all the food was incredibly presented. PAPAS CRIOLLAS TACOS were good, just not my favorite. Would like to try the AGUACATE FRITO TACOS next time. The SOPES VEGANOS SURTIDOS DE VERDURA were delicious even though I didnt see the black bean sauce. Overall a great time!

This is an amazing and highly under-rated place for some of the best Mexican vegan and vegetarian food I've ever had. The place is really unassuming and sadly it is never crowded. Their vegan enchiladas and vegan mole are just so good as is pretty much everything else. Their beans, somehow, are the best beans I have ever had.

Lady inside was so sweet. Didn't speak much English or maybe it is becasue Spanish ppl can tell I'm Spanish so it makes them comfortable to speak fluently to me but nonetheless go check em out.
