Eataly - Chicago

I had quickly passed for a latte and croissant to eat in the hotel, but eataly chicago is a place I often visit for all kinds of drinks! during the summer I often go for the gelatos. throughout the year I would go for pizza and pasta and finish the night with delicious desserts I know, there are different places of eataly throughout the country, but eataly chicago is also worth a visit!

I had heard good things about this place, it was a combination of a restaurant and a grocery store. While cute and inviting, the food did not live up to the atmosphere. My friend eating with me is from an Italian background and she was equally disappointed.

What a great concept. I could have stayed here for hours! So many unique things to look at, taste and purchase.

Always a great way to spend a couple hours downtown. All of the food and drinks are great plus it’s fun to see the different imports. They also have an impressive wine department. As a local, I’d call it a “must see” when in town.
