This small, locally owned restaurant is a hidden gem. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the publications I enjoy, and they notify me when they have something new in stock. I highly recommend stopping by for a cup of coffee and trying some of their delicious homemade truffles.

Incredible. The spinach and feta croissant is large, flaky, buttery, and delicious. The cold brew coffee was excellent as well (not watered down like some other places). They even included a few chocolates for free! I can't recommend this place enough. Definitely worth skipping the diet for and coming here!

Donna’s kingdom of literacy and live music is unforgettable. Do your soul a favor and travel here. Drip coffee by the cup, housemade truffles (are you KIDDING?! Came here in search of the news and left with stories to tell. Love it

This little gem has the largest selection of magazines on the north west side. There is a book nook in the back where I found a gift for a friend who is a bit difficult to shop for. On the walls you can find art work for sale. Many books available about Chicago. There is a cafe with a variety of hot and cold beverages as well as pastries for sale. Seating is set up inside the cute cafe or outside for fresh air and covid social distancing protocols. 9/26 masks are required and counters were wiped down after customers.

Tons of mags, a cafe atmosphere with crafted drinks and lunch items. Silent film night took me back to those glorious black and white flicks, but this time around, live music as was the custom. Fun time there and owner is a man of great business experience. Most hospitable.
