Checkers - Chicago

I often stop by Checkers on my way to Hyde Park to grab an order of their fries. Yesterday, I tried the spicy chicken sandwich for the first time along with my fries. I waited an absurdly long time, even though there was only one car ahead of me, and then I had to wait again at the window because they informed me there would be a delay (it was around 3 PM and pouring rain). Two hours later, I ended up with what was definitely a case of serious food poisoning. It's now 4 PM and I'm still feeling nauseous. I'm pretty sure the chicken wasn't cooked properly. I’m giving it 1 star, but only because I really enjoy your fries.

The food is good, but the service is quite slow. I ordered the Big Buford, and it was very tasty. As I mentioned, Checkers, McDonald's, and Arby's have the best fries I've ever had. The customer service was decent, but they could definitely improve on their speed. Other customers also mentioned the slow service while I was there. Overall, it's a solid place to eat, but they need to work on their efficiency.

I tried repeatedly to contact customer service but had no luck. I received a call back from the company but missed it, and when I called back, there was no response. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend anyone spend their money here when there are so many better options available.

I told them my children were allergic to ketchup and sneezed and to replace on cheese. they still put screed and ketchup on the hotdogs under the chili without a cheese after they have charged me. I'll report to you.
