Buona Streeterville - Chicago

I visited the Buona location in Streeterville during lunchtime in Chicago and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by how short the line was to place my order. The pickup process was a bit slow, but I can understand that considering the beef preparation required. Overall, the atmosphere was wonderfully laid-back and enjoyable. It's definitely a great spot to gather with friends, especially if you're looking to watch a game on TV.

I wanted to update my review to share that we returned today and enjoyed both a pizza and an Italian beef, and they were both equally delicious and perfectly cooked. This place is a solid choice for a burger! I had never been here before and decided to order a burger for delivery through Uber Eats. It arrived still warm—which is always great!—and was exactly as I had requested. The service was prompt, and the burger was delicious! The portion size was excellent for the price and significantly more affordable than other local beef restaurants. The flavor was comparable to what you might pay a lot more for at a nearby upscale restaurant. I deducted one star because it was slightly under well-done; as a food scientist, I prefer my ground beef well-done. Overall, it was very good. Thank you, Buona! I would have added a picture, but I devoured it too quickly!

It was pretty alright. The chicken sandwich was very juicy and good, the Chicago dog was okay since the hotdog was small and kind of plain. The food was alright but the service was slow. It's good to have if you're getting a chicken sandwich but otherwise, it's just alright.

Excellent Chicago-style Dog! Staff was nice and food came out fast!
