Beacon Tavern - Chicago

This restaurant offers a classy yet relaxed atmosphere. During our stay, we dined there twice—once outdoors and once indoors; both options were excellent, depending on your preference. The menu is compact but features plenty of fantastic selections. The drinks are top-notch and truly impressive. Our server, Antonio, delivered exceptional service. The location is ideal, just a short stroll from the River Walk and all the shops. We were staying at the Trump Hotel, and this spot was perfect for a convenient dinner and drinks.

Table for seven? No problem. We didn't even know Beacon Tavern was there and wouldn't have if it weren't for the River Walk. It was early, to be fair around 5:30 on a Sunday. But seven of us got right in. They have beautiful views of the river and thesurrounding areas. We had a great table a corner booth with plenty of room for all of us. They have a great menu and were veryaccommodating. A few of us had Fish and Chips, some had the Filet Medallions, and others had hamburgers. Everything wasoutstanding. Compliments to the chef. And, we'll be back.

My wife and I regret not dining here last night. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the decor is stunning. There are so many wonderful aspects to this place that I can't list them all, but I highly recommend visiting to experience it for yourself. We’re definitely planning to return on our next trip to Chicago.

Went there for a business lunch. Atmosphere was good for that setting but just have to vote 3 star for lack of diversity in the menu. Both myself and colleague had a difficult time deciding and felt there should've been more types of options in the saladand entree area.. I did end with the chicken, pesto and zucchini noodles which was very good.. It is a fine place, but I woulddouble check the menu before fully commiting..

Finding the place was a bit tricky, and I got turned around while walking from Wabash. Once I finally met up with my friend, we opted to sit at the bar, but the seats were bolted to the floor and a little too far from the actual bar. We asked our bartender if we could move to a high-top table, and he kindly helped us shift our things over. Our drinks looked fantastic; Alex, our bartender, presented them beautifully, and they tasted even better! We ordered the Roasted Carrot appetizer and the Rigatoni with chicken to share. Everything was delicious, but we were too full for dessert. Overall, it was a delightful experience with fantastic service, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. Alex was very knowledgeable and attentive. As my friend put it, it’s the perfect place for a cold, rainy day. Since I work across the river, I’ll definitely be returning soon!
