Honestly, it wouldn't go back or suggest that to everyone. when they land there, the pina coladas are not bad, but I certainly had better.
This restaurant is amazing, but I wish she gave them more food. I myself and all my friends were still hungry after ordering a full meal. they also allow them to replace or add to everything.
Our server was really good, but it took forever for us our drinks and appetizers. drinking took about 20 minutes to grunt what was kind of annoying.
I was there with friends for the 4th juli, eating and the drinks were decent, if maybe something overpriced. I have the island bowl with smashed avocado, that was only tears, borons, greens, plantains, salsa and guacamole. it was good, but probably not worth the $12. the 5 of us shared a pitcher of the beerenmojito, which was light and refreshing. the ambiente was super- very island feeling. we sat on the dach and it was quite hot and sunny. the service was a little slow, but they admitted to being short for the holiday.
Stopped here for brunch. I guess this restaurant used to be Mahalo. I was pretty disappointed that the menu in the restaurant did not match the one that had been posted online. Having just relocated from Hawaii I was expecting some Ono Grindz, but most of the traditional Hawaiian and Hawaiian-fusion foods were missing from the brunch menu. I don’t think the Hawaiian decor really fits the menu... why there are Kona Surfboards and no Kona beers on the menu is beyond me. I think it would be good for them to maybe go in a more SOCAL direction with the decor since that better matches the current menu. The frosé was tasty, and the food was pretty alright. The Rooftop was cute, but really needs some outdoor fans or misters for the summer time.
