Contribuiți la feedbackIt’s reasonably priced for the quality of food you get : worth coming to if you do the one day meditation and Buddhism with the monks.
I love vegetarian food as well. Updated from previous review on 2022-10-11
I went here for lunch during a one day meditation retreat that was next door at the Monk Chat office, which I also recommend [hidden link] . Some dishes have egg but those are clearly labeled. I ordered a detox drink and got them to leave the honey out. Their English is good enough for understanding your order. The staff were friendly. While it took a while to get my food, the menu does state “slow food” so I was not expecting it to be any faster. I’ll post photos of the menu.
The last two times I wanted to go here I couldn't find it, if you take the main driveway then turn right after the temples to the parking lots, it will be at the last corner of the building. Nice place! The food and ambiance remind me of Mai Kaidee, but cheaper, more chilled and less elephant pants tourists (more of an expat and nomad crowd).
Pretty easy to find if there are people in the street just ask someone to point you to PunPun. I ordered the pad prig khing and it was a nice dish served with brown rice . Portions are appropriate. Most meals run around 50 baht so it is inexpensive compared to some other vegan spots in CM. Overall i recommend if you are on a budget and want some flavor . The owner/manager at the time i visited was very friendly so were the other women working . They seemed nice and willing to answer questions on the menu .
