Pakorn's Kitchen - Chiang Mai

Ideal place to enjoy local food at a very good price. The top dish is undoubtedly the Khao Soi, we ordered it with beef and it is the best we have tried in Chiang Mai. We also tried Papaya Salad, which was very good, Yellow curry seafood accompanied by white rice and Kra prao pork, which had too much ginger flavor for my taste. They have 3 sizes of dishes and we all ordered M except the Curry Seafood which was S. There were three of us and we rolled out. They also ask you if you want the dishes little, medium or very spicy. Be careful with the brave because we ask for everything not very spicy so as not to risk it and it was already curious ️

The massaman curry is truly a dish to come for. Ordered the small one (B180) with rice and it was enough for 2. Half way through and there was still so much beef in it (attached photo). Tender too. Curry was creamy and the fresh coconut aroma blended well with spices and chunky peanuts. Spice is mild enough to even be noticed. Pakorn's is just round the corner from my hotel. A true delight! Everything is tasty and a value. The Masaman curry is on a different scale beyond good. Located just outside the southeast corner of old city is worth returning to.

Really good food. Especially with how inexpensive it is.
