Khao Soi Khun Yai - Chiang Mai

That's what Khao is supposed to be. The color and wealth of the broth. (There are no sour or sugar sweets) So rich that if you taste a bite in the salted vegetable condiment, you.. The work and love that goes into beef is absolutely pucka... Take your time to blow the broth... Evaluate the work of broth as they do the noodles... And enjoy.. Obviously, I cost the others and they all pale...

I literally came here three times a week in Chiang Mai. This place is open to 2 and sometimes they will sell from Khao Soi until noon! This place is my #1 recommendation to anyone visiting Chiang Mai!

They 've still got the touch after all these years! The name roughly translates to your grandma 's Khao Soi and I 've been coming here religiously since 2015 every chance I get. If you 've had Khao Soi somewhere else and thought it was just so-so, come here and try the best on the planet! Deep, rich flavors with the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, sour and savory. Go between 10-11am before the crowds of locals start coming in, order Khao Soi Gai (chicken), and try the longan or lotus juice. It 's a quintessential Chiang Mai experience that should absolutely NOT be missed.
