Westside Pizza Delivery - Chewelah

My wife, granddaughter, and I stopped at Westside Pizza in Chewelah on Oct 26 around 5:40 pm. We had picked our granddaughter, who has a sensitivity to gluten, up in Curlew before dinnertime, and still had an hour-and-a-half drive before arriving home. I had a medium pizza with everything (Called death by Pizza) and it was great! It's like a deep dish due to all the toppings. Everything tasted fresh, and the sauce was mild yet tasty, so the other ingredients weren't overpowered. The service was excellent, and the manager actually came and spent several minutes giving us the history of this small chain. We will definitely be going back when we are anywhere near Chewelah.

My husband and I ordered a pizza for delivery this Sunday. We 've had pizza delivered twice previously at our address. We were then told they don 't deliver to our address. When we asked why, since they 've come twice before, we were told very rudely and disrespectfully, by an employee named Mike, that those deliveries were a mistake and they wouldn 't be made again. Mind you, we 're roughly 1/4 of a mile beyond their so-called delivery area, according to Mike. In addition to all of this, Westside advertised a special called Death By Pizza for $15.99. The final bill included a $2 charge for something we don 't understand, a $5 delivery charge, and of course, tax. Our $15.99 pizza will end up, with tax and tip included, just slightly over $30. With hidden charges, rude employees, and extremely poor service, we WILL NOT be customers any more.

Fine pizza, terrible service and outdated cashier machines. They charge you for any extra thing they can and don't care about customer satisfaction. It's sad that one of my favorite pizza chains has such horrible customer service. Won't be going back if at all possible.

I've never actually left a review before, but this is definitely one of the worst places for costumer service. Both times going in I was met with unhappy employees/managers. Was double charged for an order, but when I noticed a couple days later all they would give me is a gift certificate. The pizza is good, same as any westside, but service is definitely something to be desired. Definitely will try to avoid buying from there in the future.

I was visiting from out of town and was thoroughly impressed. The customer service was excellent, and the pizza was fantastic. We even tried a gluten-free option, and it was so delicious that I actually wondered if it was truly gluten-free (it was!). I would definitely come back again.
