Wfm Coffee - Chevy Chase

This is the cleanest Whole Foods store I've ever been to. The staff is always super friendly and willing to help. This store used to have major long lines but since they've installed a self-check out lane, they've cleared almost all the foot traffic.

Stopped in to find salmon burgers but was distracted by everything else. I love Whole Foods but it would be helpful if someone greeted you with a map of the isles or an electronic version of one. It can be overwhelming for a not so frequented visitor. The fresh fish counter caught my eye but I wasn't sure, what to get so I opted to walk past. I did get some expensive uncured low sodium bacon and shredded lettuce, that appeared to have several pieces that already started to turn brown. It's so difficult these days to find a fresh looking bag of lettuce for a sandwich. I love how you can use your Amazon prime account, from the app to reap rewards on your purchase.

Terrible customer service. Everytime I go to this store, there is a long line to check out because only 1 or 2 checkout lanes are open for people with more then 15 items. Yesterday there was only 1 checkout lane open. Also, prices are increasing at a ridiculous level. Amy's soup was $3.69 per can last week. Yesterday, $5.29 per can. I would give this store less then 1 star if I could.

Since Amazon bought Whole Foods, service has gotten awful. The lines are 20 to 30 people deep consistently and they seem to only care about the shoppers for delivery.

Grateful for the absence of panhandlers at the front of the store. The customer service area was chaotic with returns intermingled with employee applications in a crooked lineup. Took way too long to return some unwanted keto snacks even with the receipt. The hot foods bar was neater at 2 pm than yesterday at 4 pm. Chicken tikka masala at $12/lb was tasty.
