Chesterton Brewery

The service was great and the food was typical bar food. The atmosphere was nice and had brewery vibes.

We started with the pretzels, which were quite delicious. For our main course, my partner and I both opted for the Philly steak sandwich since it sounded appealing. However, when it arrived, I found it to be rather dry, even with the horseradish and garlic aioli sauces provided. I requested ranch dressing as well, but the sandwich remained too dry for my taste. On a positive note, the house-made chips were excellent! Overall, the service was great, and the atmosphere was nice, but I wouldn't order the sandwich again.

The food was plentiful, hot attractively plated. The name of the bar/restaurant had recently changed but it seemed to have all the previous menu. Service was great. Refills were plentiful. Ambiance was industrial style. There is a second floor as well as first. The only suggestion I would have is to have more regular height tables. Some of us find it difficult to sit at a high table.

The restaurant was one large open vat, which meant it was very noisy, and people were yelling just to talk to the person next to them. Seemed more like a drinking place than an eating place. I had the barbecue pulled pork and it was luke warm at best, and nothing special. The menus is limited. It seems they have changed their name to Cheers in Chesterton

After waiting awhile to get a seat for a family with small kids, we ordered food and a beer. The beer came after 30 minutes when we reminded the waitress of the order. It turns out they had a problem with faulty equipment and forgot to notify us. The food never came. After an hour, we needed to feed our children. The waitress apologized and explained they had a 20-top but still charged us for the beer as we left. If you can't handle large groups and individual families, then shut down the restaurant for a private party.
