Golden Lee - Chesterfield

During our first visit to the city, my partner and I decided to try Golden Lee this weekend and opted for a change by choosing a Chinese restaurant. It was easy to view the menu online and place our order. We started with prawn crackers and a large bottle of Coke. We selected a starter platter for two, two main dishes, and a side of rice. Although the total cost was nearly £30, it was fair for the quality and quantity of food we received. The starters were average, typical of a Chinese restaurant, but the mains were delicious with generous portions of meat and vegetables in flavorful sauces. Surprisingly, the dishes weren't too heavy and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We would definitely dine here again.

I had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant. I ordered a dish and paid for it, but then changed my mind and decided not to order. Surprisingly, the restaurant refunded me and it ended up being a free meal. However, it seems that prices have increased since then and I am now searching for a new place to eat. Despite this, I had no issues with the service - they were excellent!

Food is great, staff at the front are helpful and friendly, delivery drivers are top. Driver was polite, professional and prompt. Better food than most other Chinese takeaways in town. Food was hot and extremely tasty.

We enjoyed a take away and found that the food is excellent with good portion sizes and the service is second to none. The food on delivery was piping hot which made a pleasant change from the often lukewarm food we have received in the past from their competitors. This was our first time of ordering and together with the very real pricing it will certainly not be the last ! I can honestly recommend the . 'Golden Lee to anyone !
