The Market Tavern - Chester Le Street

The owner of this restaurant does not show respect for customers with disabilities. I left feeling upset and have always appreciated the wonderful staff who have encouraged people to dine here for many years. I was completely humiliated. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment.

The restaurant is dirty, smelly, and unhygienic. The music is too loud, making it difficult to hear the waiter. It is no surprise that everyone has to shout to be heard. I would not recommend eating there.

I wouldn't choose this restaurant regularly because it doesn't have the cozy atmosphere I prefer for a night out. However, it does get very busy, and we have stopped by a couple of times when passing by because some of our friends go there. It's quite lively, but I find it too noisy for my taste. My husband enjoys going there with his friends because he likes the beer and finds the prices reasonable.

Cheaper pub that doesn't eat. it is a drink pub with pool table and juke box. it gets many different people from 10 to close.

My opinion after the best place in chester le street. probably because I have a nostalgic link to it. every Saturday after the market for a few pints with my dad. Anyway, the personal remains great, the place itself still has the same atmosphere, old style pub with friendly locals. real pub.
