Viron Rondo Osteria - Cheshire

Wonderful New Year's Dinner! I can't expect to celebrate my birthday this month too!

We returned to Viron Rondo's on New Year's Day for a late lunch. In my last review I was a bit cranky and disappointed in the service. On New Year's Day everything about the restaurant was wonderful! We chose to sit in the older section of the restaurant which is quite a bit quieter. For us, it made a huge different. We were relaxed and could hear each other. The lovely young hostess actually suggested the seating. Her attitude set the stage for a most enjoyable experience. The food, as always, was super delicious. My husband had his favorite chicken parmigiana which lasted for three more meals at home! I was delighted with the large cesar salad with Salmon. We brought half of that home as well! The portions are large enough to share a plate, but we usually don't do that! We did share the wonderful tiramisu. To top it off we ordered the Mother's Chips. It was much too much for two people but we loved it all and enjoyed the left overs for two more days! Oh, I forgot to mention that the waitress was just as wonderful as the hostess. This might have been our best experience at Viron's and we have been going there since way before the renovations!

Eating is amazing! the owner is friendly and attentive. the decoration is beautiful!

Loved the ambiance and the food was delicious. The service was great at every level.
