The Square Bottle

This is a typical Wetherspoons, great place to take a break for a while.

The initial wait was too long, and we were initially ignored, which would have been a 2-star rating. However, the staff member who assisted us was very good, so overall I would rate the experience as 4 stars. On average, I would give this restaurant 3 stars.

I've drunk it many a Wetherspoons pub and this is one of my very favourites. Although it can sometimes take a little time to get served, the service is first class and the prices are very competitive. The atmosphere is generally buzzing. I actually prefer a bit of peace and quiet and I can get that if I go in at the right time. Dan and his team run a good ship and a splendid time is guaranteed for all.

Breakfast choice when in Chester especially after a night out. Used the app to order and was correct. Good Breakfast, well cooked although the bacon was a little fatty for our taste.

Nice place on a Saturday dinnertime, quite busy but we found a table. Ordered drinks and 1 fish and chips meal and 1 scampi. Food was delivered quickly and was excellant. Drinks of 1 pint of Acorn, and Stowford were also very nice. Bill just slightly over £20. Very good value.
