Some mark it as the best bar in chester. I wouldn't go so far, but it's a nice bar with a fantastic view. on the channel side only a little.

Beautiful local pub with friendly staff and a beautiful atmosphere. I was in town to visit a family and we came here our first Friday night. we are from the usa.

The old canal basin building has been transformed into a spacious pub with a unique atmosphere. The staff is fantastic, friendly, and well-informed, always willing to help if they are unsure about something. The food is delicious, although slightly on the pricey side. The pastas are available in two sizes, with the smaller portion being more suitable as a starter. The beer selection is also impressive, with a variety of options to choose from. The bar is adorned with a large collection of interesting artifacts. Overall, the prices are reasonable and the experience is worthwhile.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Chester. The view of the canal is stunning, the atmosphere is cozy, and the food is delicious! The only downside is that they no longer serve their delicious cakes. I hope they bring them back soon!
