I had a wonderful Sunday dinner at this lovely pub. We were the first ones there at 12:30 pm, so we sat at the bar with drinks and chatted with the staff. They had a great team spirit and were very professional and friendly. The service at our table was also excellent, and the food was delicious. I ordered the pork and my partner had the beef. We hadn't been there since Christmas, but we felt so welcomed that we will definitely be returning more frequently!

After spending 25 years living and working in the United States, I recently returned to Britain. Finding The Faggot to be my new local was the perfect finishing touch. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, much more so than what I had become accustomed to in America. The steak and ale pie was outstanding, and I appreciate that they are dog-friendly, just like my old pooch. I can't imagine a better pub anywhere else.

Having eaten here with good experience, today's visit was most disappointing. great reception and service. starter 3 makrele the goat was expired its usage date, does not smell like makrele, tasted bitter and strange all 3 returned. main course. lachs mixed salat arm. roast beef and pork roast, meats and chewing gum. in all a bad experience, no answer from the administration over the makrele. they think this gastro-pub is from the cook and management must change.

We have the chance to get a table, but the restaurant was fully booked, but the personal member has done a lot to find something for us. when it was a mild and dry evening, we decided to eat outside. I had kept light as I had experience at other places where external service was not available. Anyway, no worries as the service was in front of location and we could not have asked for more attentive employees. the drinks and the food arrived immediately. the order was on the square. the food was hot, freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. the manager even took some of the teller so that the meal all came together. the teamwork was incredible and everyone was pushed on news! excellent eating, excellent staff, wonderful place. that will be our ancestral guest when we are in whitchurch (by liverpool).

Fantastic quality ingredients, cooked expertly, served by professional and skillful front of house staff. Exceptional night out!
