Springwood Park Table Table

This is now our 3rd visit for Sunday lunch and Mark has served us every time. The first time we were a group of five and the service was exceptional but better than that we never stopped laughing. His humour was sharp, quick and on point whilst maintaining professionalism. We didn’t expect that he would remember us when we visited again for the second time but we couldn’t have been more wrong. He recognised us straight away and the first words out of his mouth were pure comedy, such was the rapport that was built on our first visit. Mark is the consummate professional and a very hard worker and his personality and hospitality is Contagious. He is an asset to the organisation and if he ever left it would leave a massive hole but we hope that won’t ever happen.

Made a last minute booking for 6.30pm tonight. Was welcomed with a friendly greeting by Mark who showed us to our table. He explained that they were short staffed in the kitchen tonight so there may be a slight delay with getting food out but took our drinks order straight away and left us to peruse the menu. We weren’t in a rush so it wasn’t going to be an issue for us. We didn’t have to wait long before our drinks arrived a very helpful young waiter called Jason took our food order. We have eaten here before and the food may have taken slightly longer to arrive than normal but was still well within an acceptable timeframe and still well cooked presented. Even though the restaurant was busy due to there being a special offer on Mark Jason were still attentive, checking everything was okay replenishing drinks etc. They both worked hard to ensure it was still a good experience despite the staffing issues behind the scenes and we wouldn’t hesitate to make a return visit.

The service was great, fast with delicious food served. Mark was very friendly and efficient. We had great Christmas lunch, thank you!
