Papa's Fast Food - Cheshire East

Regular customers and normally no problems but tonight after waiting 2 hours for an order (est time was 55 mins) we rang to cancel when the driver finally turned up. The app said it was out for deliver for 45 mins. Poor customer service who, when they decide to answer the phone just fob you off with lies. It’s a shame as the food is so nice but will be going elsewhere from now on.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, offering one of the best takeaway options in the area in terms of choice and taste. However, the delivery and customer service leaves much to be desired. Waiting times can exceed 2 hours and sometimes the food arrives cold, which is unacceptable. If these issues were addressed, this restaurant would easily receive a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.

My friends and I used the Just Eat app to order a pizza and two kebabs at 5:45pm. The estimated delivery time was between 6:45pm and 7:15pm. After waiting 2 hours and 45 minutes, we decided to cancel our order because the food had not arrived. Surprisingly, the food finally showed up after we had already ordered and eaten from another restaurant. While the food from Papas is delicious, the long wait and delivery times are unacceptable. We will not be ordering from them again for this reason. Additionally, getting a refund through Just Eat was a nightmare.

We used to be frequent customers at Papas in Alsager and tonight we ordered a mixed kebab. We thought we had paid by card but luckily we didn't! After waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes, despite living just 5 minutes away and knowing they were not busy, we opened the box to find the meat was a greyish color and the fries were very flat - I initially thought it was the naan bread! It was absolutely disgusting. I wouldn't even feed that meat to my dog! In the past, our orders have been missing items but we never complained before. This will definitely be our last order from them.

Ordered, chicken kebab and child's ice cream. Chcken kebab arrived cold with no ice cream. After a few calls and nearly two hours I called them to cancel the ice cream and ask for a refund. They refused to refund it saying they couldn't refund part of an order. All they could do was offer a free ice cream on a future order. I explained that was no good to me as I'll never use them again and he said that was all they would do and hung up. Cold food, long delivery times, awful attitude to customer service.
