During our visit to Bridgemere, we decided to dine at the main restaurant. We ordered a cheese scone and a coffee each. Unfortunately, it was a regrettable choice. The scones, priced at £2.75 each, were perhaps the worst we have ever tasted. They were tough, crumbled into pieces when sliced, and were very dry and unappetizing. This disappointing experience has made us wary of ordering scones in the future.

The breakfast at Blue Diamond is standard and typical. It is prepared and served in a consistent manner by a corporate entity. There is nothing particularly outstanding about it. I left feeling satisfied but not overly impressed. If you are already at the restaurant, it is worth trying, but I wouldn't go out of my way to make a special trip for it.

One slice of bread and ham squashed together and wrapped in cling film, juice and quavers £6.45, Terrible, total rip off. Service was good though.

We visited the garden centre on the 20th June 2021 and it got to lunch time so thought we would stop in the cafe for a bite to eat , on arrival we were seated but then left for another 20 minutes before a order was taken , then fairly quickly our food from the kitchen came out however the same can’t be said about our drinks and scones. Our order was placed at 12.15 and drinks finally arrived at 12.45 , we then waited another 10 minutes for our scones to arrive with no clotted cream when we did receive the cream it was frozen so obviously couldn’t use it. They didn’t rightly take it off the bill. My summary of our visit would be it has potential to be nice as the food was good but the service lacked organisation and the staff seemed like some extra training was needed. I will admit it was busy but that’s where you need a clear leader and it didn’t look there was one present.

The restaurant was extremely crowded with no social distancing between tables, making it difficult to navigate through the constant flow of people. The QR code for ordering at the table was not functioning, adding to the frustration. The woman who escorted us to our table was not wearing a mask, despite not being legally required to do so, and did not maintain a safe distance. The younger staff members wore masks and were attentive to personal space, but the older women seemed unaware of the situation. Ultimately, we had to leave. The food was excellent, and we may consider returning once the situation improves, but not until then based on this experience.
