Contribuiți la feedbackThis restaurant has a great variety of play equipment for children, but don't count on getting your food quickly. The two serving areas are often crowded, with one rarely open and the other always having a long line due to slow service. Even if you just want drinks, you have to wait in line with those ordering food. Last time, we waited 25 minutes just to order. It's frustrating when you have kids to watch and entertain.
Unfortunately, the garden centre has closed down. It is no longer open to the public, and the café displayed in the pictures is also not available. It is best to avoid visiting this establishment.
On the downside, the restaurant could use better signage, as we missed it on our first drive-by. The cafe was quite pricey and had a limited menu – we were hoping for traditional kids' options like chips and fish fingers, but they only had sandwiches. Additionally, the temperature inside was extremely cold, and we had to keep our coats on the entire time. Overall, we may not return. My advice would be to dress warmly, bring extra money for the cafe, and pack a change of clothes for kids, as mine ended up getting soaked while playing in the water. Many others have also noted these issues.
Really impressed with this place. Visited this morning. It’s got so many activities! The staff are really friendly too. Took my 14 month old and there was lots of play for her and I can see many other play sections for when she gets older too. Sand pits, climbing areas, varieties of slices, baby areas, soft play, dinosaurs, fish tanks, lots of places to sit eat. Variety of food on offer. The place looks great and is designed really well. Indoor and covered outdoor area. Amazing value for money. Full pizzas for £5. Entry cheap for how much play there is. Very clean and staff are really great. Highly recommend.
No complaints whatsoever, nice hot coffee, smiley attentive staff and fantastic facilities. I didn't really know what I was coming to as there is limited pictures online etc but the play area is really well thought out and quite different from the normal soft play centres, offering sand and water play which is something over not seen before. My 9 year old wasn't amused for very long as it seems it's more for under 6's but my 2 year old didn't want to leave. Finding a soft play centre that isn't freezing cold for us parents is bonus. Coffee was lovely and hot- if I'm going to sit and watch the kids play for 2 hours I want to be warm and enjoying hot caffeine and it's something many centers overlook. There are some poor reviews regarding the staff and I can honestly say every staff member I came in to contact with was helpful, welcoming and had a smile on their face. People treat you how you treat them so it works both ways. As I say, no complaints and we'll be back again very soon.
