Restaurant de Dorigny

I was in the Vaudois Cantonal Archives when lunch made itself necessary. I didn't want to go into town so looked on my phone for the nearest restaurant. This led me to the university campus, so I thought it was going to be a canteen lunch. To my surprise, there, in a university building, was an upmarket restaurant with an appetising and extensive menu. I was given a nice table by the window and perused the menu. Many old favourites such as filets de perche, pasta dishes, even pizzas, together with some nice-looking meat dishes. The overall theme though is definitely Italian. I chose (a bit weirdly) a tartare of tuna (CHF 20) followed by a dandelion salad with eggs and bacon bits (CHF 21). Three decilitres of local red wine cost CHF 15. The service, by a delightful and highly efficient and professional young lady, was pleasant and very fast. My choices were excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Mediocre food. Not that tasty. (makes Ikea restaurant look like fine dining) and the people who work there... just rude.

This is a terrific place for lunch, with good food, good service and a great view of the lake. In the evenings, it is quiet and consistently very good! the lights could be dimmed more to make it more romantic, but the service is good, and the food is very good, especially the pizzas. In the fall, the game is excellent and people come from all around the canton to dine here.

Très déçue. Juste une belle vue et contrairement aux autres commentaires, l'Italie n est absolument pas dans les assiettes. Crevettes sans aucun goût, pizza fade et viande (40.- l assiette !) insipide et sauce beaucoup trop grasse. Nous ny retounerons pas.

Merveilleuse soirée ! Trois couples avec enfants. Accueil chaleureux. Service impeccable.Nous sommes des habitués mais on est toujours étonné de la qualité des mets.Tout est SAVOUREUX!
