Los Primos Mexican Grill - Chesapeake

This is now my go to Mexican restaurant, the food is great, very clean and good service. The owner checks to make sure everything was good. I have eaten here about 8 times always good.

The atmosphere is nice and the staff were very friendly. I enjoyed a nice glass of wine while I waited. The door was prepared quickly and exactly how we ordered it. Over all taste was delicious and a nice change for our usual place.

I ordered a flan. And it's the worst flan I have ever had. Completely curdled. It has a deeply unsettling texture, almost grainy. The cinnamon flavor is quite strong. Plus there is an off taste. Just gross. Included a photo

Coming from Texas and knowing good tex mex restaurants, I thought it would have been difficult to find good Tex mex restaurants here. This place surprised me and the food was delicious! Even the chips were so delicious. Coming back here for sure!

I loved this place because it's not far from my house. The perfect neighborhood secret with delicious Mexican food! Although they were busy for a weeknight dinner, we were seated right away. The steaks were perfectly seasoned and the portions are very generous.
